Glasgow - COP26

There are six months left before COP 26, which will be held from 1 to 12 November in Glasgow. Preparatory activities promoted by Italy and the United Kingdom and by many other actors are intensifying with a series of high-profile international events.

Preparation is taking place in a multilateral framework, including the Presidencies of the G7, held by the United Kingdom, and that of the G20, held by Italy.

Discussions are focusing on how to improve global climate ambition also in light of the end of the Covid 19 crisis so that the recovery can be low-carbon, resilient and sustainable.
