Agreement Expo 2015 for the reduction of climate change
A green legacy of the Universal Exhibition. This is the aim of the agreement between the Ministry for the Environment and Expo 2015, which was undersigned on 21 February 2013. The agreement, among other initiatives, foresees guidelines on Carbon footprint methodologies and neutralization for the Big Event Expo 2015. This activity is being performed in collaboration with the University Politecnico of Milan, as foreseen by the convention undersigned on April 24 2013.
Italian Ministry for the Environment signed a landmark agreement with leading global disclosure system, CDP, to boost corporate action on environment
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Italian Ministry for the Environment and CDP, pioneer of the only global system for corporations to disclose their environmental data to investors. The Italian government and CDP aim to collaborate to drive action to promote sustainable growth and protect the natural environment via the voluntary disclosure and measurement of environmental information by both public and private sector.
