The international “Start Up Energy Transition” (SET) initiative invites young and innovative companies around the world to apply for the SET Award 2019. The third round of the award for business ideas in the energy transition and climate protection was launched during the World Energy Week in Milan, Italy, by the German Energy Agency (DENA) in cooperation with the World Energy Council (WEC). The deadline for applications is 31 January 2019. LCEC encourages Lebanese nationals to apply to compete for the SET awards. For more info, check the web site: www.startup-energy-transition.com. The SET Tech Festival, featuring the pitches of the finalists, will take place in Berlin on 9 April 2019.
The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) -in its efforts to share with you all the developments that are taking place in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green buildings sectors in Lebanon and the region- has setup the “LCEC-Good-to-Know” email information tool. The “LCEC-Good-to-Know” is an email sent regularly by the LCEC including two small infos on the latest events, achievements, publications, updates, articles or others related to the work of LCEC.
