The LCEC has recently completed two market surveys on the use of energy efficient home appliances in Lebanon (retail market survey and consumer market survey). The two surveys will help launch a new campaign thanks to funding from the Italian Ministry for the Environment , Land, and Sea (IMELS); the campaign will be dedicated to promote the use of energy efficient home appliances with high rating (energy labels). The campaign will be associated to a rebate program targeting Italian high efficiency products in the Lebanese market. The program targets directly the replacement of more than 15,000 home appliances all over Lebanon.
